Reading this news article about an attack on a lone victim was bad enough.Then to read the plea from this thug to stay out of prison ,was like rubbing salt into another victim's wounds.

Joseph Bruckland to be extradited to Greece accused of attack on Sutton United footballer Robbie Hughes (From Sutton Guardian)
My family are on our forth Christmas still awaiting justice for my son Robert.
Four long years getting pushed from one department to another to get told there's no help or support if you happen to be a victim of crime abroad.Today three and a half years later my son is now being seen for the first time by the consultants /doctors at the hospital.He will now start his treatment for his OCD /brain injury and memory loss.My family like many other victim's family s I am afraid to say have to get accustom to these long waits and hold ups but it does cost so much and takes its toll on them also in the end.
I often wonder do the suspect/defendants ever stop and think what they may have done to anther human being and how this attack has ruined this victim's life for ever?
Thank god Robert has no memory of this awful attack on him in 2008 .However his only memory s are waking up in a Greek hospital with his family around him keeping him safe and taking care of him .x
I just hope that 2012 Robert gets the justice that he deserves.x

When a man or woman takes away life or part of ,then they them selves deserve to face the rest of there life paying the victims and there family's back for the pain and suffering they have inflicted.
If no lessen is learnt from this ordeal then maybe just throw away the keys for good because trying to change a criminal is not down to us, only they can make change and normally that's the last thing on there minds.

British Passport
"Why is it" that as a British passport holder we cant get out of the UK or back into this country without that document? "Why is it" that on the front page of the British passport document, it states quite clearly that as a British passport holder we WILL be protected when abroad? "Why is it" that theses words are not implemented by any of our Government's of the day or in the past? British victim's and there family's need all the help they can get at times like these and in most cases its left to the worn out family's to pick up all the pieces on there own. My son Carried this document when he went on Holiday to Greece .He also had this document when he was attacked and then put on to a life support machine in Crete.He still holds this document to this day . However his case and many other cases have proved the point. That the words inside of this very important passport document that has the stamp of approval from our Majesty is not implemented in most cases when you need it most ?  |

Is Justice and Human rights only for defendants and criminals
I have just come home from the Labour party woman's conferounce in Liverpool.I felt like it was the place to get support and attention for the Campaign "Please Enjoy Don't Destroy" and to shout out and speak up for the voice of the victim and there family's. AS its them who have to pick up all the pieces in the aftermath of crime and the serous injured abroad.
However I was unable to get a place at the main Labour party conferounce where there was to be a justice meeting which I was told would cover the human rights of the resent defendants in the riots and other subject like prisoner's pay being docked to give to the victim's etc.Can I ask is there any justice in this world as it seams like only if you are a criminal do you get on the agender. It also seams that the human rights for victim's and there family's are still buried for well and truly in the past.
Mr Miliband was it not you that spoke up for a victim's family recently in the press and also spoke about that same victim's family at the Woman's conferounce and the fact that because you did they had there victim's voice heard.???
Mr Miliband its time to speak louder then words and put a working practice in place now like the EU victim's proposals to safe guard the victim and there family's that are left to fend for there selves in the aftermath .
Lets hope this hand of support was not just for the papers and the Media and that all the other victim's and there family's get your support for justice for there family's as well.

Help for victim's Help for there familys also. As its them that have to pick up all the pieces in the aftermath. I could have least kept my eyes open it was so cold but what a great time Alaina and I had in Brussels.We were accompanied by Claude Moraes MEP and also Kathleen Walker Shaw from the GMB.This part of my journey was to get justice for victim's of very serouse crime abroad.This road has been long stressful and very hard work has been done by all. However its not a dream of mine anymore, as I want it to become a reality. We all can play a part in this very important path to get support /help and advice to get that mechanism in place for the victim's and there familys for the future. Please Enjoy Don't Destroy Campaign.
Think before you harm someone as you may regret it for ever. Give as good as you get your mums and dads may say, that's if they believed you needed to protect yourself from harm .
However how far would some people take that saying and could these innocent words get twisted if that son or daughter etc became a bully or a thug instead of the victim .
Do we ever stop to think before we say them words and what may or could happen if we did.
The picture says it all an innocent victim is the result .Lets hope in the future this will change and the thugs and bully's think before they harm. As the aftermath consequences are more then just a jail sentence.For the victim and there familys it becomes a sentence for life.

This was the night Robert won the Sporting award in the Spirit of London awards on the 27/11/10.
My family were so proud and could not stop clapping when his name was called.The smile on Roberts face says it all.The awards were in aid of Damilola Taylor trust.
Damilola died on the streets of London at the hands of thugs however his name lives on and something good has come from something so bad.
God bless you Damilola.
Meeting with a great lady .
This was such a special day not only was Alaina and I meeting with the new victim's champion but also with Sara the mum that gave us Sarah law.This law came from a very sad story of abduction of a young girl which left this young child murdered and a family torn apart with grief with there lives changed for ever. I was honored to meet Sara who just like me was a victim's mum and a campaigner for victim's rights and will always treasure this meeting as I have always admired her for her work and her own personal commitment to help others to protect there children from paedophiles.
Will he ever get his human rights called Justice
Will Robert ever get his Human rights called justice.This long waiting game is very stressful as victim's and there familys like ours are kept in the dark and are normally the last to hear any news.I am publishing this picture again to remind people that this was a very vicious attack on another human being and the people that did this to him are still walking around free as birds. Nothing has changed since this first happened to my son the culprits who done this still have the blood stained on there hands which cannot be washed away especially from there minds.
Training the children at the grange.
On Thursday the 24/02/11 Robert and channel 4 made a visit to the Grange in Wallinton in surrey.The children were so happy to see Rob and treated him like a celebrity.Robert may now be disabled for life but has not lost his great talent and that's training children and young adults to play Football the game he loves so much.
This day was not only a training day but also a memory jogger for Robert, as when he was a child he went to this after school with his brothers and sisters which left me time to look after my other disabled son Steven .I'm afraid to say Robert on the day was unable to remember this special place from the past but he now has a new memory of it now for the future.
When Rob went blond .
For some reason that we as a family don't and can't understand Robert seams to associate with some thing in the past then copied it.So on this occasion in his life he decided to die his hair very light.However I don't think it will be long before he changes his mind again and we will see a new colour and a new hair stile then again we will have to guess why.
